Jabil is seeking a Sr. Automation Design Engineer to design automation equipment across mechanical, electronics, electrical, and software domains. You will review requirements, create design drawings, manuals, and ensure manufacturability within budget and timeline.

The role collaborates with project managers and assemblers, maintaining accurate time logs and delivering specs that meet customer needs. A B.Sc. in related field and 5–7 years of automation design experience are required.

Formación

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of automation equipment design and installation experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design automation equipment (mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software).
• Collaborate with Project Manager/Engineer to meet timeline and budget.
• Interpret requirements into design/materials for manufacturability.
• Liaise with assemblers/manufacturers to ensure parts meet design.
• Produce design drawings, installation and user manuals.
• Log engineering time in tracking system.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
