Jabil in Mexico's Jalisco region seeks an Automation Design Engineer II to design automation equipment across mechanical, electronics, electrical, and software domains. You will review requirements, plan, design, install, and ensure the project meets specs, budget, and schedule, while supporting the Lead Engineer.

Collaborate with project teams to interpret specifications, liaise with manufacturers, generate drawings and manuals, and log engineering time against each project.

Formación

• Experience designing and installing automation equipment.
• Knowledge of EMS industries.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability.

Responsabilidades

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise, e.g., Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Software Application.
• Works closely with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project time line and within budget.
• Reviews, understands and interprets requirements/specification accurately for integration into design of equipment.
• Acts as liaison with internal and/or external Assemblers/manufacturer of equipment to ensure all parts are manufactured to the design.
• Generates design drawings, installation manual, and user manual.
• Ensures all engineering times are logged into tracking system correspondent to the projects.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
