The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering and 5–7 years of automation design experience, with strong knowledge of assembly and EMS industry practices.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of automation design experience in relevant fields.
• Strong knowledge of automation equipment design and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Design automation equipment across mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software areas.
• Collaborate with Project Manager/Engineer to meet timelines and budget.
• Interpret requirements/specifications for accurate design integration.
• Ensure manufacturability of designs and liaison with manufacturers.
• Produce design drawings, installation and user manuals.
• Log engineering time against projects and support related duties.
