Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy - Product Payments

We’re looking to expand our Finance & Strategy team in Mexico City (Remote). Our Finance team accelerates the growth of our business by implementing new opportunities and solutions. We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model. We’re looking for people who can model the future and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role within the Payment Products business line at DoorDash. This role will help evaluate financial decisions for all of the fin-tech related products within DoorDash. The day-to-day responsibilities will include managing financial models, tracking business performance, and identifying risks and opportunities. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Strategy & Operations, Analytics, and Product to improve processes, enhance reporting, and drive data-backed decision-making. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to present insights to leadership. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love tackling complex problems, this role is for you.

• Work with partners to develop new processes and investment frameworks
• Work to increase our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability
• Identify and measure important risks and opportunities in our business
• Analyze business/financial measurements, uncover trends, and assess current/future business risks and opportunities

We’re excited about you because…

• 4+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English and Spanish
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels
• Experience managing budgets for various teams
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company
• Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn)
