Formación

  • 3+ years in strategy & operations, product management, investment banking, management consulting, M&A, or related fields.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-changing environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (C1+).

Responsabilidades

  • Understand merchant needs and develop solutions with cross-functional partners.
  • Drive the implementation of new product features for managing Merchant financial products.
  • Use data to inform hypotheses and persuade cross-functional teams.

Conocimientos

Senior Associate, DoorDash Capital - Strategy & Operations
About the Team

We focus on helping our Merchants access critical financial products to grow and operate their businesses. Our team is dedicated to providing high-demand products with the best end-to-end experience, often exploring how to deliver more value through our platform and external partnerships.

About the Role

You will partner with support, fraud, and sales teams within our Merchant Financials pod on the Ads & Promos team. Your responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, protecting against fraud, and providing data insights for decision-making. This involves responding to customer inquiries, listening to sales pitches, resolving issues, and monitoring transactions for potential fraud. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, works well under tight deadlines, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Strategize: Understand merchant needs, prioritize by impact, and develop solutions with cross-functional partners.
  • Build: Drive the implementation of new product features and processes for managing Merchant financial products.
  • Construct: Bring structure to ambiguous environments and create playbooks or templates where none exist.
  • Analyze: Use data to inform hypotheses and persuade cross-functional teams.
  • Influence: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development teams to bring products to market.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in strategy & operations, product management, investment banking, management consulting, M&A, or related fields, preferably in finance or fintech.
  • Enjoy tackling complex problems with first principles and working across disciplines.
  • Data-driven problem solver proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and consolidate data from multiple sources.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (C1+).
