The Sales Compliance team is responsible for designing and ensuring effective controls across DoorDash’s sales organization. The team has four functions: Revenue Reconciliation, Contract Operations, Commercial Operations, and User Access Controls. It is part of the larger Sales Strategy & Operations team, which accelerates productivity and develops go-to-market strategies to support our sales organization. This group builds the engine and foundation for DoorDash to achieve the best selection for our platform and grow revenues across all business lines.

About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Senior Associate to manage aspects of the deal approval process, establish policies over deal execution to ensure system data accuracy and approver compliance, and enable DoorDash velocity by optimizing sales productivity. This role will be instrumental in expanding the Commercial Operations function across DoorDash, supporting strategic opportunities, and providing critical support to drive efficiencies and robust controls. You will also proactively identify and implement system and process improvements to facilitate business growth and scaling.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop effective, repeatable deal processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to reduce cycle time.
  • Communicate and influence across teams and senior management.
  • Lead projects to implement process improvements that expedite deal velocity.
  • Drive reporting and monitoring across multiple queues, handling complex deal scenarios independently.
  • Enable deal formation and execution with a focus on minimizing sales cycle times.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders including legal, sales operations, accounting, finance, and product management to meet team objectives.
  • Establish and maintain an approval matrix across stakeholders and systems, streamlining approval workflows.
About You
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-growing, preferably tech environment.
  • Experience managing Deal Desk functions or supporting sales channels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask.
  • Strong analytical skills and practical judgment in complex situations.
  • Proactive in identifying root causes and working with stakeholders on long-term solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate decisions across all organizational levels.
  • Attention to detail with a bias for action to drive sales velocity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields preferred.
  • Technical aptitude with systems like Salesforce, JIRA, and Contracting Software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce, Contracting Tools, and Google Suite.
