EDAG Mexico is seeking an Expert Assembly Planner to lead end-to-end planning for complex production equipment and assembly lines in the automotive sector. You will represent project planning in cross-functional forums and drive cost relief and F-time reductions through process optimizations.

You bring a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years of OEM experience, and fluency in English. Willingness to travel and German A2 are a plus. This position is 6 months and based in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience at an OEM is required; strong assembly equipment knowledge is essential.
• Familiarity with ergonomics standards and Kanban systems is preferred.
• German A2 is a plus; fluent English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and tools.
• Represent Project Planning in multidisciplinary forums.
• Analyze, design and implement assembly structures and processes.
• Identify cost-saving potentials and reduce cycle times; ensure process reliability.
• Develop assembly and test processes and perform FMEAs.
• Prepare technical RFQs for equipment and tools; select and source equipment.
• Manage projects: controlling, scheduling, defect documentation.
• Participate in 3P and ramp-up workshops; support workshops.
