We are looking for an Sr. Application Scientist I to join our team. The Sr. Innovation Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, laddering internal and external projects, and small scale and commercial trial batches.

What you’ll do:

• Lead technical discussion with customers and account managers.
• Design the best color solution based on customers desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements.
• Works on new product ideas, comes up with creative alternatives based on customers' desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements.
• Generates customer reports and technically effective presentations.
• Analysis of complex problems and creation of creative solutions.
• Runs stability tests for new product developments.
• Active collaboration with marketing and manufacturing specialists.
• Recommends improvements, identifies opportunities and collaborates to increase revenue.
• Develop methods and make tests. Advanced product, processing and testing knowledge, including the ability to understand and explain results.
• Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle.
• Works independently with minimal supervision
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of objectives and development of suitable methodologies.
  
  

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in general science or food science or equivalent education. A minimum of seven years of experience in the industry and management experience preferred.
• Leads projects where product applications are required to offer color solutions to food industry customers.
• An enthusiastic, creative, and team centered approach to creating an amazing office environment.
