Job summary

JLL is hiring Senior Software Engineers to own how the internal AI platform supports the teams building on it. This is a deeply technical role spanning identity, networking, cloud permissions, model APIs, MCP servers and agent runtimes.

You will diagnose production issues, fix root causes, and ship platform features such as gateway tooling, observability, and developer experience improvements to empower teams across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production systems.
• Strong debugging across distributed systems: trace identity, network, API and runtime.
• Hands-on with at least one major public cloud incl. IAM, networking and secrets in production.
• Hands-on experience with MCP server or production agent and LLM app composition: model APIs, tool calling, agent frameworks.
• Experience supporting other engineering teams with clear communication.
• Bias toward removing whole classes of problems rather than resolving them one at a time.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own the support queue: triage, resolve and accelerate requests from teams across the firm.
• Debug end-to-end: identity and token lifecycle, gateway calls, MCP servers, runtimes, networking, deployment.
• Reproduce issues, identify root cause and fix or ensure fix.
• Coordinate during incidents with application owners and stakeholders.
• Ship platform features: gateway, agent tooling, identity patterns, observability.
• Share production ownership including incident response and RCAs.
