Job summary

Solera Holdings, LLC. is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, build, and operation of AI harnesses and agent delivery swarms that accelerate software delivery.

This senior individual-contributor role sets technical direction, mentors engineers, and drives production-grade AI tooling across teams. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering at principal/staff+ level, deep expertise in AI agents, and strong CI/CD and platform data lake experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering at principal/staff+ level.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise building AI development agents, agentic tooling, prompts/contexts, evaluation frameworks, and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the AI harness frameworks, prompts, pipelines, guardrails, and evaluation systems for AI agents.
• Design and operate agent delivery swarms to execute complex tasks in parallel with strong safety and quality controls.
• Mentor engineers and raise capability across teams in AI tooling and modern engineering practices.
• Define technical direction for AI-native software delivery and promote adoption across products.
• Own architecture for AI-accelerated delivery systems in collaboration with central architecture teams.
• Ensure AI-produced code meets security, reliability, and maintainability standards.
• Integrate AI capabilities with CI/CD pipelines for safe-release processes (canary, blue/green).
• Leverage data lake and platform services to ground agents in real context and maximize reuse.
