Athenaworks is seeking a Sr. AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent agents that understand, reason, and act for customers.

You will work at the cutting edge of applied AI, combining LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, MCPs and autonomous agent frameworks to solve real-world engagement problems. This highly collaborative role involves partnering with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver robust, scalable solutions while staying ahead of industry trends.

Formación

• 8+ years in software engineering focusing on AI/ML systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement AI agent architectures for customer engagement and automation.
• Build and maintain pipelines for agent reasoning, memory, planning, and tool use with LLMs, RAG, MCPs and external APIs.
• Evaluate models and agents to improve performance, reliability, and alignment.
• Collaborate on building a robust agent framework supporting multi-step workflows and dynamic goals.
• Optimize agent cost, latency, and safety for production environments.
• Monitor, test, improve deployed agents using customer feedback and analytics.
• Stay ahead of trends in agent-based AI and contribute innovative ideas.
