Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC in Puebla, Mexico seeks a Lead AI Engineer to design and lead GenAI workflows that automate cloud security policies and remediation. The role emphasizes AI architecture, RAG, and vector databases, with 6+ years in software on public cloud and 2+ years building agentic AI.

You will lead the Cloud Security Tooling team, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines. Fluent English required; remote/flex options may be available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering on public cloud.
• 2+ years building agentic AI with RAG and vector databases.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud deployment pipelines and IaC.
• Proven capability in technical leadership in a global organization
• Proven capability to lead and mentor engineers in a distributed, asynchronous, follow-the-sun model.

Responsibilities

• Architect Generative AI workflows using RAG, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
• Oversee AI-enabled drift detection, continuous discovery, and remediation capabilities.
• Accelerate generation and validation of Terraform modules, Rego policies, and Regula test cases for CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as the technical lead for the Cloud Security Tooling team's AI enablement initiatives.
