RTX Corporation in Mexicali seeks a Principal Stress Engineer to lead advanced structural analysis of aerospace components, conducting stress and fatigue assessments with hand methods and FEA tools. You will document tests, manage projects, review work, and guide junior engineers to ensure high integrity and performance of metallic and nonmetallic products.

The role requires strong communication in English, a relevant degree with significant experience, and a focus on improving analysis

Competenze

• Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years in related fields.
• Experience performing stress and fatigue analyses on aerospace components.
• Experience applying hand‑analysis methods in aerospace applications.
• Experience using FEA tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar software.

• Conduct stress and fatigue analyses of aerospace components using hand methods and computer‑based tools.
• Develop and document structural test activities to assess metallic and nonmetallic aerospace products.
• Manage moderately sized technical projects related to structural analysis and ensure alignment with objectives.
