In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of Lean & 5S principles to streamline operations, improve safety, minimize waste, and optimize efficiency across manufacturing processes.
- New Technology Implementation and Production Equipment Assessment: Identify and evaluate opportunities to introduce new technologies and methodologies in our operations to enhance process efficiency and product quality. Work with operations teams to develop Scope of Work (SOW), capital investment plans, and Return on Investment (ROI) justifications for projects.
- Vendor Interactions: Collaborate with external suppliers to source capital equipment, develop acceptance criteria, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Project Management: Lead and implement multiple projects related to manufacturing process improvements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- New Product Introductions: Collaborate with NPD teams to ensure new products adhere to design for manufacturing standard processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field such as industrial technology. Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of significant experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on NPI, equipment development, new technology, and product line transfers.
- Strong analytical abilities to collect, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and solving problems.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%; a valid passport is required.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Competence with technology, including PLC programming and integration of electro-mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
- Understanding of systems integration languages like SQL for communication between Oracle and automated equipment.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with new product development teams for successful product launches, including production readiness and sustainment plans.
- Ability to apply statistical analysis tools such as Excel and Minitab.
- Experience implementing automated assembly processes with sensors, actuators, feeders, conveyers, barcoding, digital instructions, and vision systems in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
- Experience implementing SCADA systems for industrial data analysis.
- Experience with test techniques to measure leak rate, flow rate, and response time using LabVIEW and/or PLC.
- Assembly automation experience, including design and installation.
