Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Finance professional for the Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies venture in Mexico. The role focuses on managing the Mexico Trading general ledger, coordinating with Sales, Tax and external auditors to ensure compliant financial reporting.

Fluency in English is required, with 3+ years in accounting/finance and project management experience to drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across US and Mexico GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required.
• CPA/CA or similar certification preferred.
• Candidate must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner.
• Prepares general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepares balance sheets, P&L statements, and consolidated financial statements.
• Responds to inquiries from management, auditors, and SOX teams about financial results.
• Reviews internal controls regularly and develops improvements.
• Analyzes procedures and recommends best-practice accounting changes.
• Maintains confidentiality of organizational information.
