Job summary

Magna International Inc. is seeking a finance professional in the Monterrey area to support accounting, taxation and financial activities. The role emphasizes accuracy in financial reporting, process improvements, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

You will contribute to timely month-end close and audit readiness while collaborating with HR and Finance teams globally. Fluency in English is required; MBA is preferred though not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public accounting or related field.
• 5 years of accounting, taxation and financial activities experience.
• MBA preferred, but not required.
• Coordination with HR and Finance teams; strong customer service attitude.

Job Responsibilities

PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Accuracy in financial reporting. Process efficiency, reduction of manual work through automation of process improvements. Compliance, adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Timely delivery of month-end close activities, reconciliations and tax filing completed by deadlines. Audit readiness, quality and completeness of documentation during internal ex-ternal audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public accounting or related field. Experience in accounting, taxation and financial activities - 5 years. MBA preferred, but not required. Coordination & communication with other departments to ensure timely execution of activities (HR, Finance, Canada Finance, etc.), ensuring an adequate customer service attitude. Fluency in English, spoken and written are required
