Magna International is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Control Accountant located in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. Job Responsibilities

Position Title: Internal Control Accountant

Position Objective: The Internal Control Accountant is responsible for ensuring that financial, accounting, and operational processes comply with internal policies, applicable regulations, and best practices. This role focuses on designing, evaluating, and monitoring internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure the reliability and integrity of financial information.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, internal control, or internal/external audit.
• Experience working with internal control frameworks and audit methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with internal control frameworks (COSO preferred).
• Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or local GAAP) and basic tax regulations.
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience with data analysis and process documentation.
• Advanced English level (mandatory) — ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English in a business environment.
