Confidencial is seeking a Senior Accountant in Hermosillo, Sonora, to support a portfolio of business clients with full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including month-end close, financial reporting, and complex reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple entities and accounting systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Strong GL accounting and journal entries
• Experience with complex balance-sheet reconciliations
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Ability to handle complex or non-routine transactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and explain accounting matters clearly
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and client accounts

Responsabilidades

• Manage the month-end and financial close process for multiple clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and identify discrepancies or issues.
• Perform complex reconciliations across multiple systems or entities.
• Support multi-entity consolidations.
• Apply revenue recognition based on underlying transactions.
• Manage fixed-asset accounting, depreciation, disposals, and cleanup.
• Support ASC 842 lease accounting where applicable.
• Prepare loan amortization schedules and related entries.
• Investigate unusual transactions and determine appropriate treatment.
• Review client financials and implement corrections.
• Troubleshoot accounting-system discrepancies and communicate with clients.
• Assist integrations between systems and document processes.
