Formación

• Título en Finanzas/Contabilidad requerido.
• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en contabilidad o gestión financiera.

Responsabilidades

• Soporte en el proceso de cierre mensual para la línea de productos.
• Realizar reconciliaciones de cuentas mensuales.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Santa Rosa, Querétaro.

Position Summary: This position supports the month end closing process for Foundation Brakes product line, performs monthly accounting transactions, account reconciliations, analysis and has local system and reporting responsibilities for several ledgers. The position also supports various financial reporting requests from product line, regional, divisional, or corporate management teams

What you can look forward to as a Senior Accountant:

• Month end close responsibilities: Record journal entries, open/close financial periods, verify exchange rates, headcount review, load financial data to consolidated reporting system, balance financial reports from local ERP to reporting system
• Perform various general ledger account analysis
• Monthly account reconciliations
• QAD ERP account creation and SAP ZP8 mapping maintenance
• Update internal control documentation for local staff ledgers, as well as support the BU
• Collect data and file returns for sales & use tax, property tax and GST/HST
• Support internal/external audit request

Your profile as a Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance / Accounting required.
• At least 2 years accounting / financial management preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on, energetic, organized, proactive team player with proven ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment and facilitate change, multitask effectively, and work independently
• Knowledge of SAP, KP8, Excel, Word, PowerPoint desired.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, Ability to interact with cross functional teams seamlessly and provide financial guidance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Fully Bilingual
