About the Role

This position involves providing timely and accurate financial record-keeping and reporting as directed by management, with limited supervision.

As a Senior Accountant, you can expect to:

  • Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and organizational standards.
  • Create reports on financial performance for both internal and external use.
  • Perform balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations.
  • Develop and utilize automated tools for updating, analyzing, and reporting consolidated financial results.
  • Coordinate the month-end close process.
  • Review of Account Reconciliations and ensure disposition of items are known and action is taken
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Preparation of internal financial statements
  • Participate in and coordinate transformation projects.

What is Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related to the area.
  • Fluent English

  • Expert in financial services industry, lease and loan accounting, US GAAP, IFRS, financial products, financial statements, financial audits management
  • Knowledge in Oracle, Sales Force, Power BI, and other similar tools.

  • Follows regulations for entering and reporting financial content in major accounting systems.

Financial Analysis:

  • Describes the concepts behind financial analysis and the implications of financial data.
  • Explains the organization of financial statements and the type of information they provide.
  • Identifies major types of financial statements issued by the organization.

Financial Reporting:

  • Follows organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting.
  • Uses basic tools to create simple financial reports.
  • Monitors compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing.
  • Implements organizational methods and procedures for financial report writing.
