IFF is seeking a Financial Accountant to drive accuracy in SAP postings and statutory reporting while collaborating with global teams in a hybrid role at Tecnoparque, Azcapotzalco. You will support month-end close, liaise with Tax/Treasury, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, English proficiency, and cross-border coordination with regional and global stakeholders to deliver accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance or controllership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience with account reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit support activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews for governance and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities with timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate preparation of local statutory financial statements and documentation per Chilean regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accounting records and statutory books per Chilean legal, tax and accounting requirements.
• Support audits by providing reconciliations, schedules, analyses and required documentation.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Prepare and record journal entries in SAP and Central Finance (CFIN), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews to support strong financial governance and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate the preparation of local statutory financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with Chilean regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accounting records and statutory books in accordance with Chilean legal, tax and accounting requirements.
• Support external and internal audits by providing reconciliations, schedules, analyses and required documentation.
• Prepare and review tax reporting packages and support income tax provision activities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Finance teams to resolve accounting, reporting and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, company policies, US GAAP and Local GAAP.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance or controllership activities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience working with SAP.
