Micron Technology, Inc in Mexico is seeking a Sr. Semiconductor Design Engineer, DRAM, to build and analyze CMOS memory circuits from architectural blocks to tape-out, collaborating with global teams.

You will translate device specs into silicon functionality, lead layout coordination, and optimize performance, cost, reliability, and time-to-market while advancing AI and storage technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent required.
• Foundational knowledge of CMOS build and memory applications.
• Solid grounding in circuit build, simulation setup, analysis, and debugging.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Build, simulate, and optimize memory circuits from gate level to full chip using SPICE and Verilog.
• Develop and validate key circuit blocks (arrays, decoders, control logic, data paths, test logic).
• Lead layout coordination (floorplanning, placement, routing) and parasitic modeling.
• Collaborate with CAD, verification, process integration, test, and product engineering for quality and manufacturability.
• Drive verification coverage and AI-based automation across build and verification workflows.

As a Sr. Semiconductor Design Engineer, DRAM, you will build and analyze CMOS digital and analog coordinated circuits crucial for memory product development. This role lets you contribute from early technology development through product creation and validation while collaborating with global design, verification, and layout teams. Your work will help optimize cost, quality, reliability, time‑to‑market, and customer happiness as you grow your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, simulate, and optimize memory circuits from gate-level to full‑chip, including schematics, layout, and performance analysis using SPICE and Verilog.
• Develop and validate key circuit blocks (arrays, decoders, control logic, data paths, and test logic) by translating device specs into robust silicon functionality.
• Lead and coordinate the layout process (floorplanning, placement, routing), parasitic modeling, and design validation through tape‑out and reticle experiments.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with CAD, verification, process integration, test, probe, assembly, and product engineering to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Drive innovation and efficiency by closing verification coverage, identifying gaps, and bringing to bear AI‑based tools and automation across the build and verification workflow. Using Artificial Intelligence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering accompanied by 3‑4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Foundational knowledge of CMOS build and memory applications.
• Solid base in circuit build and simulation setup, analysis, and debug.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to peers and management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in electrical or computer engineering or a similar field.
• Familiarity with mixed‑signal circuit building and optimization.
• Experience with memory circuit development and performance optimization.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
