THE WORK

Evaluate the current Segment (CDP) implementation to identify gaps in event tracking, audience building, and data transformation.

Optimize protocols, event naming conventions, and data flows to support structured, clean, and reliable customer data.

Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to align tracking needs with business objectives. Support the transformation and modeling of event data in the data warehouse to enable downstream use cases. Ensure compliance with privacy standards and data governance policies across all CDP configurations.

Develop repeatable processes and documentation that enable teams to independently maintain and scale the Segment implementation.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

3+ years of hands-on experience with Segment or a similar Customer Data Platform.

Deep understanding of event tracking, protocol design, and customer data modeling.

Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics.

Familiarity with CDP use cases such as audience building, personalization, and behavioral segmentation.

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation.

Experience with data transformation in warehouses and a basic grasp of SQL is a plus.
