An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Security Manager to oversee all security operations. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing personnel, and ensuring compliance with local laws. What you will do-
Organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. Strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Continuously fully comply with all quality and regulatory standards and policies. Responsible for stopping further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product conditions.
• Responsible to manage Security Services and Chauffeurs/Drivers. Responsible for the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures applicable to the site.
• Manage the budget for security operations and monitor expenses. Recruiting, training, and supervising security personnel directly hired by the organization
• Monitor, investigate and report security breach situations. Interact with government and law enforce agencies responsible for the compliance of local laws.
• Work closely with EHS Manager on the coordination of staff responding to emergencies and alarms. Perform security process evaluations and inspections.
• Work closely with Facilities & Maintenance manager to ensure the security infrastructure (cameras, turnstile, card access readers, perimeter fence and gates, etc) are in good working conditions.
• Create reports for management on security status.
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology). Work from verbal and/or written instructions.
What you need-
Qualifications (Education, Certifications and/or Experience) and Skills:
• B.S. in Security Administration or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in Security Management.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
