ISP seeks an Upper School History Teacher to deliver rigorous instruction across historical periods, fostering critical thinking and source analysis. Applicants should hold a History degree and teaching credentials; a Master’s in History or Education is preferred.
An Upper School History Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous instruction in history to students (typically ages 11–18), fostering critical thinking, historical inquiry, and an understanding of past events and their relevance to the present. The role supports students' academic growth, civic awareness, and analytical skills.
