Senior Statistician (Remote in México)

Responsibilities
Scrum Master
  • Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • Strong experience in Scrum practices and principles; lead daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Proven experience in Project Management in software development environments and strong understanding of the software development cycle
  • Able to monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables, team capacity for sprint and PI planning
  • Ensure efficient workflow and communication within the team, support Product Owners and non-technical stakeholders
  • User story creation: gather requirements from stakeholders, write clear, concise and comprehensive user stories
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog on the Azure DevOps (ADO) board, manage PBIs
  • Prepare and present weekly management updates
  • Excellent communication (Spanish & English) and teamwork skills
Data Analyst
  • Able to review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create corresponding PBIs for resolution
  • Monitor the status of DataBricks jobs and ADF pipelines
  • Strong Python experience
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure Data Factory
  • Ability to review monitoring reports and create PBIs for necessary fixes
  • Focus system maintenance
Nice-to-have (plus) skills
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP)
  • Background in AI, data science, or related fields
