Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Scrum Master to enable high-performing software development teams on the Reinsurance AD project for our client, AON CORPORATION. You will coach and mentor Scrum Team(s), remove obstacles, and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure delivery progress and alignment with business goals.

Advanced proficiency in Scrum and Agile Project Management is expected, with a focus on continuous improvement and agile tooling.

Responsibilities

Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project Reinsurance AD. The client is AON CORPORATION, a company specializing in global professional services, providing a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions. Responsibilities: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your day-to-day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team or Teams, removing obstacles that hinder progress, and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will also identify and report progress through appropriate metrics. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Scrum is required. Advanced proficiency in Agile Project Management is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Agile Process Coaching and Agile Methods (ADM for Distributed Agile Development) is suggested. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and Agile practices. Facilitate open communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Analyze team performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions proactively. Support the adoption of Agile principles across multiple teams to foster a culture of agility and responsiveness. Champion the resolution of conflicts and challenges by promoting a positive and solution-oriented environment.
