BYU Pathway is seeking a Print Operator to support our production line with precise print operations and setup. The role requires setup of jobs, ink mixing, and ensuring color accuracy while maintaining production pace.

The position demands physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and good teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; 4 years work experience may be substituted.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills required.
• 2 years work experience required, preferably in a fast-paced production environment.
• High degree of accuracy in counting and comparing information.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with team.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and perform fast, repetitive movements for 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift/move/push/pull items up to 50lbs. (100 lbs. with two people).
• Operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs.
• Stand and move throughout the shift.
• The work is physical, demanding and fast-paced.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs assigned print operations using designated machines and computer systems while maintaining production rates and ensuring quality and integrity of the print.
• Performs all functions of a print operator 1 as well as listed tasks.
• Sets up print jobs and sets the pace for the print line operations.
• Mixing inks.
• Creating screens and/or plates.
• Sets production screens and plates, placing them in proper alignment and position.
• May manually apply print to product.
• Detect color variations to ensure print integrity.
• Coordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignments.
• Performs general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areas
