Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Planner Scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for large-scale data centers using Oracle Primavera P6. The role emphasizes accurate planning across all project phases and close collaboration with stakeholders to report progress.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience in project controls, specifically in data center or manufacturing settings, and is proficient in Primavera P6, MS Office, and Excel.

• Ability to monitor trends, analyze schedule impacts, and prepare status reports.

• Willingness to travel to site locations, including client sites in Queretaro.

• Ensure schedule activities are coded by WBS and integrated with control systems.

Job Description

The Construction Planner Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for large-scale Data centers. This role ensures accurate planning and timely delivery across all phases of the project using ORACLE Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project master schedule for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare and maintain the Basis of Schedule.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely updates and accurate progress reporting.
• Apply resource loading to establish optimal staffing and crew plans.
• Calculate and manage Earned Value KPIs and progress tracking using S-curves.
• Implement owner's scheduling specifications and processes.
• Coordinate progress tracking with the GC and stakeholders for all project milestones.
• Ensure schedule activities are coded by WBS and integrated with control systems for progress and forecast updates.
• Facilitate Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) with discipline leads, vendors, and client representatives.
• Establish and monitor the critical path, analyzing impacts and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Incorporate scope changes and trends into the schedule.
• Provide detailed reporting (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) on plan vs. actual progress and forecast strategies.
• Comply with owner policies, legal, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Experience

• 7 - 10 years in project controls, planning, and scheduling.
• Proven experience in Data Center or Manufacturing projects
• Expertise in developing detailed project plans from master schedules using Primavera P6.
• Ability to monitor trends, analyze schedule impacts, and prepare status reports.
• Strong ability to adjust schedules and report discrepancies against baseline.
• Development of detailed project plans from the Master Schedule using P6 software. Also, Manage key inputs including task lists, logic, milestones, resources, from design phases through to construction & project close-out.
• Monitor trends and analyse schedule impacts with the project team.
• Prepare status reports.
• The Candidate should be able to independently travel to site client location in Queretaro.

Education & Skills

• Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Analytical, organized, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
