Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The MBS SC Sr Analyst role will analyze Walmart Inc's performance, providing insights and trends to support the business regarding key metrics. This role will work closely with the supply chain leadership team to develop compelling narratives from data insights, translating complex findings into clear, actionable business recommendations. It will support the Customer Supply Chain team and extended SAMS-WMT cross-functional teams, with responsibilities including tactical execution of Business Support operations, workflow innovation, and proactive data analysis.

Your Impact

As SC Visualization Data Sr Analyst, your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing data, trend assessments, and preparing presentations for leadership, creating comprehensive cross-functional reporting tools.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in analyses and reports.
• Innovating data presentation and communication methods, exploring new visualization techniques.
• Contributing to supply chain initiatives like Network Modeling, KPI development, and process optimization.
• Partnering with Business Unit teams to identify strategic opportunities and develop decision-making tools.
• Providing ad hoc support to monitor service KPIs and critical supply chain metrics.
• Designing analytics tools for deep dives into service issues.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields (preferred).

Experience

• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for engaging with teams and leadership.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Power BI (preferred), capable of creating data stories and visualizations.
• Experience in preparing executive presentations that communicate insights and recommendations.
• Experience with Power BI, MS Excel macros, and SQL/Python scripting (desired).
• 2-3 years of experience in CPG or Data Analysis roles, with a proven record of delivering actionable insights.
