Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Compliance analyst is accountable for supporting consults, guidance, audits, and providing import/export analysis resolution.

Follow up on customs risk and is responsible for driving compliance initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and providing expert guidance on regulatory and legal customs matters at regional and global levels:

1. Support internal inquiries for regional regulatory analysis and trade compliance execution for ocean operations.
2. Support import/export data validation and auditing to ensure business continuity for ocean operations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Government Affairs, Procurement, Legal).

The Compliance Analyst supports the development and implementation of compliance strategies, ensuring BU aligns with global trade regulations and standards.

Your Impact

As SC Sr Compliance Analyst, your responsibilities would include:

• Compliance Execution: Support the implementation of compliance initiatives across multiple regions, aligning with global strategies and ensuring adherence to compliance objectives.
• Risk Assessment: Participate in identifying compliance risks and develop mitigation plans for regions.
• Team Support: Provide support to junior analysts, fostering continuous improvement.
• Regional Regulatory Expertise: Serve as a point of contact for regulatory issues, analyzing changes and their impact on business operations.
• Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams on import/export processes.
• Policy Implementation: Execute policies and procedures to standardize compliance practices across regions.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare reports on compliance performance, highlighting areas for improvement and risks.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
