Job summary

Sequoia Connect is seeking a SAP Security Analyst to manage user and role administration across multiple SAP landscapes. You will work on SAP GRC, ChaRM, and Solman while supporting SAP Fiori and audits in a global, fast-paced environment.

This six-month remote opportunity offers exposure to ERP security governance and SoD risk analysis within a multinational IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP Security administration with user and role management.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP GRC, Solman, and ChaRM.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting authorizations within SAP Fiori.
• Strong background in auditing, risk analysis, and SoD.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of SAP users: creation, modification, locking/unlocking, role assignment, test user prep.
• Support creation and maintenance of simple, composite, and derived roles across BW, ECC, CRM, Portal, PO, HCM, HANA DB.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user authorization incidents to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate on internal/external audits by generating risk analysis and SoD reports.
• Monitor SAP GRC tools to uphold security standards.
• Provide support for SAP Fiori (Tiles, roles, error tracking).
• Manage change requests and system documentation using ChaRM and Solman.

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Support the creation and maintenance of simple, composite, and derived roles across various systems including BW, ECC, CRM, Portal, PO, HCM, and HANA DB.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user authorization incidents to ensure seamless business operations.
• Collaborate on internal and external audits by generating reports on risk analysis and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Monitor and manage SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools to uphold security standards.
• Provide support for SAP Fiori, including the creation of Tiles, roles, and error tracking.
• Manage change requests and system documentation utilizing ChaRM and Solman.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Proven experience in SAP Security administration, specifically with user and role management across multiple SAP environments.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP GRC, Solman, and ChaRM.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting authorizations within SAP Fiori.
• Strong background in auditing, risk analysis, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English: Capable of engaging in fluent conversational English with teams in the US and other international sectors.
• Advanced Spanish.

• This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
