Job summary

Sequoia Connect is seeking a SAP ABAP Fiori Developer to join our talent-first technology ecosystem. You will design, develop, and support SAP applications, collaborating with global teams on end-to-end delivery within a remote setup.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with RAP, S/4HANA, CDS, OData, Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, and BAS/ADT. English and Spanish fluency preferred; remote work available from Mexico City region.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA development, including HANA-optimized ABAP development and Open SQL.
• Hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS Views), including CDS UI, Consumption annotations, and Virtual Elements.
• Experience with OData V2 and OData V4.
• Hands-on experience developing SAP Fiori Elements applications and good knowledge of SAPUI5/Fiori architecture.
• Experience implementing Behavior Definitions, Draft handling, Actions, Determinations, Validations, Side Effects, Instance Features, and Value Helps.
• Experience with BAS and Eclipse/ADT.
• Experience with BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, User Exits, RFC, Proxy, IDoc, and Web Services.
• Experience in debugging and performance analysis using SAP development/debugging tools.
• Languages: Advanced Oral English and Advanced Spanish.

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA development, including HANA-optimized ABAP development and Open SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), including both Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS Views), including CDS UI, Consumption annotations, and Virtual Elements.
• Experience with OData V2 and OData V4.
• Hands‑on experience developing SAP Fiori Elements applications and good knowledge of SAPUI5/Fiori architecture.
• Experience implementing Behavior Definitions, Draft handling, Actions, Determinations, Validations, Side Effects, Instance Features, and Value Helps.
• Experience with Business Application Studio (BAS) and knowledge of Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Experience with BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, User Exits, RFC, Proxy, IDoc, and Web Services.
• Experience in debugging and performance analysis using SAP development/debugging tools.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
