Job summary

Freudenberg seeks an experienced SAP FICO professional to act as the technical counterpart to the Finance & Controlling consultant during global rollout projects. You will translate finance requirements into IT deliverables and ensure alignment with SAP templates.

You will support data migration (LSMW, BAPIs), collaborate with developers on FICO objects, and ensure legal tax readiness. Strong English and automotive ITSM background preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• >8 years of experience in related roles.
• Substantial knowledge in project management and IT service management processes.
• Broad knowledge of Digital Core Applications and Infrastructure for Automotive Suppliers and ITSM.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL and related standards and processes.
• Advanced English; another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical counterpart to the SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant during rollout projects.
• Translate finance requirements into IT deliverables aligned with global SAP templates.
• Provide technical support for FICO master data and transactional data migration (LSMW, BAPIs).
• Collaborate with developers to build and optimize FICO-related custom objects.
• Ensure system readiness for country-specific legal and statutory financial requirements (e.g., e-invoicing).
• Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) with technical configurations and test data.
• Provide Key User trainings and document outcomes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot finance IT processes.
• Work with the team on role assignments, transports, and system stability.
• Participate in cutover planning and go-live execution focusing on technical readiness.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to IT knowledge base.

• Broad knowledge in Digital Core Applications and Infrastructure for Automotive Suppliers as well as in IT Service Management.
• Substantial knowledge in project management and affiliated standards and processes like e.g. ITIL.
• Broad knowledge in business and corporate processes for automotive suppliers and Digital Business Transformation
• Advanced level of English. Skills in an additional major language are welcome
