Job summary
Freudenberg Group in Mexico seeks an experienced IT/Finance specialist to act as the technical counterpart to SAP FICO consultants during rollout projects. You will translate finance requirements into IT deliverables, ensure alignment with global SAP templates, and support data migration and master data topics.
You will collaborate with developers, support testing, trainings, and cutover activities while maintaining technical documentation and ensuring readiness for local tax and regulatory
Qualifications
- University degree in IT or equivalent and 8+ years in IT projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management and ITIL standards.
- Advanced English; other major languages welcome.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical counterpart to the SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant during rollout projects.
- Translate finance requirements into IT deliverables aligned with global SAP templates.
- Provide technical support for FICO master data and data migration (LSMW, BAPIs).
- Collaborate with developers to optimize FICO-related custom objects.
- Ensure system readiness for country-specific legal and statutory financial requirements (e.g., e-invoicing).
- Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) with configurations and test data.
- Provide Key User Trainings and monitor system performance.
- Work with the team on role assignments, transport management, and system stability.
- Participate in cutover planning and go-live with focus on technical readiness.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to IT knowledge base.
