Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Solutions Architect to lead SAP S/4HANA transformation for international clients. You will design end-to-end SAP Finance solutions, guide architecture decisions, run customer workshops, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices throughout projects.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP FI/CO, four full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, and advanced English.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Solutions Architect to join our team and lead SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects for international clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end SAP Finance solutions, guiding solution architecture decisions, leading customer workshops, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and SAP best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across FI/CO processes.
• Define solution architecture and cross-module integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, and EWM.
• Lead customer workshops and translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients while owning solution design and delivery, aligning business needs with implementation strategies, managing stakeholder expectations, guiding functional teams, and ensuring solution quality through implementation and go-live.

Your Expertise:

• 8+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, including solution design and architecture.
• Proven SAP S/4HANA experience and at least fourfull-cycle implementations, preferably in a lead or architect role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance processes and cross-module integration.
• Extensive knowledge of Mexican tax, accounting, and regulatory legislation, with the ability to translate legal requirements into SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead client discussions, present recommendations, and bridge business and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to drive decisions and resolve complex issues.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Valid passport and U.S. B1/B2 visa.
• Willingness to travel 40%–60% to client sites, including internationally.
