Job Title: SAP Delivery Manager - Capability Lead
Location: Hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Mexico. This role requires strong conversational English skills.
Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to lead and manage projects focused on delivering SAP Solutions. The candidate will lead global teams of functional and technical resources to scope, design, build, test, and deliver solutions in a regulated and compliant state. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects within a multinational environment, preferably within the Life Sciences sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the definition of SAP project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
2. Coordinate with SAP Capability Managers to secure resources, considering global priorities.
3. Manage changes to the SAP project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate project delivery methodologies.
4. Execute all activities using AstraZeneca Project Delivery Framework.
5. Ensure risks are managed appropriately, reporting and escalating to management as needed.
6. Manage a small team of Guadalajara-based Delivery Managers, conducting performance reviews, supporting development, and ensuring compliance with all policies.
7. Execute AZ and ECS people strategies in relation to direct reports.
8. Successfully manage relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders.
9. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
2. Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.
3. Working Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager & Service Now.
4. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
5. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
6. Experience in a validated environment and awareness of GXP and SOX requirements.
7. Experience in managing teams of up to 10 people.
8. Experience working in globally distributed teams within a matrix structure.
9. Proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent spoken and written skills. Portuguese is a plus.
10. Willingness to travel.
11. Proven working experience in any SAP Core Technologies is a plus.
12. Knowledge or previous experience in SAP testing tools, frameworks, or best practices.
13. Knowledge or previous experience with any Project Portfolio Management tool.
14. PMP / PRINCE II / SAP Activate Certification.
