Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in Mexico City is seeking an ERP Engineer II to design, develop, and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

You will build iFlows, APIs, and B2B/EDI interfaces, ensuring secure, reliable data flows across core ERP processes. Collaborating with senior engineers, you’ll perform testing, prepare deployment packages, monitor processing, and document interfaces and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of SAP integration development experience.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Knowledge of SAP business processes including FICO, OTC, PTP, master data, sales, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP BTP Integration Suite solutions, including iFlows, APIs, and B2B/EDI interfaces connecting SAP S/4HANA with external systems.
• Build interfaces based on approved technical designs, including message mapping, value mapping, error handling, and required XSLT or Groovy scripting.
• Configure and support B2B/EDI, IDoc, OData, SOAP, and REST integrations using standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Perform unit testing and support integration and UAT testing; prepare deployment packages and transports for releases.
• Monitor integration processing, investigate failures, reprocess messages where appropriate, and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
• Maintain interface documentation, configuration details, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides to support operations and knowledge sharing.
• Follow security, credential management, access control, and change-governance standards while collaborating with functional, development, and support teams to improve integration quality.
• AI mindset with passion to adopt AI and deliver solutions.
