Formación

• Experiencia práctica en administración de SAP HANA por al menos 1 año.
• Conocimiento sólido en administración de SAP Basis y migración a la nube.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a SAP Basis Application Engineer to join our IT team in Guadalajara, México. This role is a key contributor to our multi-year business-led ERP transformation project, which includes a migration to S/4 HANA. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to raise your personal profile and work on exciting challenges and technologies.

Accountabilities:

As a SAP Basis Application Engineer, you will be deeply involved in SAP architecture and design, participate in the movement of SAP Workloads from on-premise to cloud platforms, and provide technical support related to SAP HANA and Oracle Database. You will also contribute to the installation and upgrading of SAP S/4, BW/4HANA Systems & HANA upgrade and migration.

Essential Skills/Experience:

1. Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
2. Hands-on experience in SAP HANA administration for at least 1 year.
3. Experience with HANA DB Upgrades, SAP Application upgrades and/or SAP Database upgrades.
4. Experience in moving SAP Workloads from on-premise to Cloud, preferably to AWS.
5. Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration.
6. Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.
7. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.
8. Experience in regulated environments and knowledge of GXP and SOX requirements.
9. Experience working in a globally distributed team within a matrix structure.
10. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

1. Certification on SAP S/4 HANA or OS/DB Migration or AWS administration.
2. Experience in SAP Business Technology Platform.
3. SAP working experience in SUSE or REDHAT Linux, AIX and Windows OS.
4. Working experience on High Availability and Cluster Environment.
