Svitla Systems, Inc. seeks an SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere Consultant in Mexico to support and extend SAC reporting and finance planning. The role blends hands-on analytics with stakeholder collaboration, focusing on dashboards, planning artifacts, and data modeling.

Hybrid work is required (office 2-3 times per week). You will engage finance stakeholders to design solutions, while growing into broader implementation work as the platform matures.

Formación

• 7-8 years of analytics experience, SAP context preferred.
• At least 1 year hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere, including SAC Planning.
• Experience with SAC story/dashboard development and data actions.
• Experience with Datasphere data modelling, views, semantic layers, and data flows.
• Knowledge of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting).
• Strong stakeholder interaction and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor story performance and apply naming standards.
• Support benchmarking and finance-related planning reports.

• Configure planning calendars, versioning, and data locking.
• Develop and troubleshoot data actions and multi-actions.
• Collaborate with finance teams to run planning cycles and capture enhancements.
• Prepare test cases, conduct UAT, and produce documentation.

Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere Consultant for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. You will support and extend the existing SAC reporting and finance planning landscape. Reporting and analytics are the primary focus of the role, with finance planning, budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking, and predictability as a close second. This is a hands-on, business-facing position. Initially, the majority of the time (approximately 60–80%) will be spent on support and enhancement of work. This is not a ticket queue: alongside incident resolution, you will deliver quick fixes and changes in direct partnership with finance stakeholders in Mexico, which means understanding the business problem before building the solution. Over time, the balance is expected to shift toward new development as the platform matures, offering a clear path from support and enhancement into solution design and delivery.

The role suits someone who works independently, manages their own priorities without day-to-day task direction, and is confident, engaging business users directly.

Requirements:

• 7-8 years of overall experience in analytics, preferably in an SAP context.
• Minimum 1 year of proven, hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere, including SAC Planning.
• Demonstrable SAC story and dashboard development using Visual Designer.
• Experience building and maintaining SAC planning artifacts: data actions, input forms, calculated measures, validations.
• Experience with Datasphere data modelling, views, semantic layers, and data flows.
• Working knowledge of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts).
• Ability to understand the underlying business process, not just the technical configuration.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities without day-to-day task direction.
• Strong stakeholder interaction and communication skills; comfortable engaging business users directly
• Good business English.
• Energetic, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain SAC stories, dashboards, and input forms using Visual Designer.
• Create and adjust calculated and restricted measures, dimensions, hierarchies, and filters.
• Monitor and tune story responsiveness and model performance; apply best practices and naming standards.
• Support benchmarking and predictability reporting for finance stakeholders.
• Support, extend, and enhance existing SAC planning models with SAP Datasphere as the storage layer.
• Configure and maintain input forms, planning workflows, and validation logic.
• Develop and troubleshoot data actions and multi-actions.
• Configure planning calendars, version management, factory calendars, and data locking.
• Build allocations, calculated measures, and currency translations for finance planning scenarios.
• Work with predictive planning and AI-assisted forecasting features.
• Build and maintain data models, views, dimensions, and hierarchies in the SAP Datasphere.
• Create and troubleshoot data flows, feeding planning, and reporting models.
• Maintain live connections between plan and actual data.
• Work directly with finance and business teams to run planning cycles, resolve issues, and capture enhancement requests.
• Facilitate requirements gathering with finance stakeholders and translating business needs into solution design.
• Provide L2/L3 support, incident resolution, and planning calendar administration; ensure SLA and change control compliance.
• Prepare test cases, conduct UAT, and produce solution documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAC predictive planning and forecast enhancement features.
• Exposure SAC content packages for finance.
• Background in a shared services or global business services delivery environment.
• Experience with SAP BPC or BW-IP, and migration to SAC Planning.
• Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA embedded analytics, or SAP BTP
