PwC México is recruiting an experienced SAP ABAP Developer Manager to lead ABAP development teams and drive performance improvements across SAP environments. The role requires strong leadership, delivery accountability, and a track record of managing complex SAP ECC and S/4HANA initiatives.

The position supports AMS and transformation programs with a hybrid (on-site and remote) work model across CDMX, Monterrey, and other major Mexican locations.

Formación

• 8–12+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and delivery ownership.
• Strong experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Experience coordinating global onshore-offshore delivery teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage SAP ABAP development teams across AMS and enhancement initiatives.
• Own technical solution design, code quality, and performance optimization in SAP environments.
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex incidents, problems, and critical changes.
• Ensure delivery excellence through SLA adherence, risk management, and governance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, Basis teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across SAP applications.
• Mentor, coach, and develop ABAP consultants across different seniority levels.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migrations, rollouts, and transformation programs.
• Provide clear status reporting and client communication in global delivery models.

As a SAP ABAP Developer Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping clients stabilize, enhance, and modernize their SAP environments. You will combine deep technical expertise, delivery ownership, and people leadership, acting as a trusted advisor for both clients and internal teams.

Location: CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Queretaro | This position follows a hybrid (on-site and remote) work model.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP ABAP development teams across AMS (Operate) and enhancement initiatives
• Own technical solution design, code quality, and performance optimization in SAP environments
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex incidents, problems, and critical changes
• Ensure delivery excellence through SLA adherence, risk management, and governance
• Collaborate with functional consultants, Basis teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across SAP applications

Required Experience

• 8–12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing deliverables
• Strong exposure to SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
• Experience working with global / onshore–offshore delivery teams
