The role involves developing a sales pipeline, building relationships with decision-makers, and ensuring the success of accounts through training and support.

Formación

  • 5+ years in Account Management, Sales, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years managing sales teams.
  • Fluent in English, with intermediate Excel skills.

Amazon Marketplace is seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to acquire and manage key accounts while leading a team of business development managers. The Sales Manager will develop a sales pipeline consisting of high-value and transactional accounts, working through their team to recruit and launch businesses to sell their products on www.amazon.com.mx and managing the portfolio to grow their sales.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for:

  1. Identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  2. Creating and presenting compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
  3. Post-acquisition, building the success of those accounts by providing business insights, training, support, and seller education.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate of completion of studies.
  • 5+ years in roles such as Account Management, Sales, Retail Buyer/Associate Buyer, In-stock Planner/Allocator, Finance/Analyst, Marketing/Merchandising, Product Management, or Project Management.
  • At least 2 years of managing sales teams.
  • English proficiency: Fluent (written and spoken).
  • Intermediate Excel skills: formulas such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, COUNTIF, experience creating Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and using conditional formatting.
  • Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Work experience preferably in eCommerce, online advertising, retail technology, or IT industries.
  • History of exceeding targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
