Disruptive Packaging is searching for a proactive Sales Support Officer to assist the Director of Sales and Business Development. The role involves coordinating sales activities, managing customer interactions, and supporting marketing efforts. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and a passion for customer service within a dynamic environment.
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and versatile Sales Support Officer to provide high-level support to our Director of Sales and Business Development. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of our sales function by coordinating with internal departments, managing customer interactions, managing the flow of the sales process, assisting the Sales Director with all day to day functions and supporting marketing and trade show activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, confident in multitasking, and passionate about delivering a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and external customers. Whilst not a necessity experience in the corrugated box industry would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration & Support
1. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Sales and Business Development including managing shared email accounts and correspondence.
2. Prepare customer quotes, proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
3. Facilitate customer samples, artwork and other sales functions to expedite the sales process.
4. Schedule and maintain sales activities and appointments in the jointly managedcalendar
5. Maintain and update CRM records and sales pipelines.
6. Support tender documentation preparation and submission.
7. Assist in the preparation of regular sales reports and performance tracking.
Customer Order & Delivery Coordination
1. Receive and process customer sales orders and track their progress through internal systems.
2. Liaise with operations, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
3. Monitor stock availability and delivery schedules, resolving issues proactively.
4. Communicate updates to customers regarding order status, lead times, and potential delays.
Customer Relationship Management
1. Act as a first point of contact for prospective and existing customers for general inquiries, sample requests, and support.
2. Coordinate the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring documentation, samples, and information are provided.
3. Organise and follow up on customer meetings, providing summaries or minutes where required.
4. Proactively manage follow-ups and maintain customer satisfaction across accounts.
Internal Department Coordination
1. Work closely with internal teams including operations, design, estimation, and production to support customer requirements and ensure timelines are met.
2. Liaise with the design and estimation teams to coordinate packaging concepts, sample development, and pricing turnaround.
3. Maintain tracking tools and schedules for sample requests and delivery deadlines.
Marketing & Trade Show Liaison
1. Act as a key point of contact between the sales team and the marketing department to align messaging, materials, and campaigns.
2. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of marketing collateral such as brochures, capability statements, and product flyers.
3. Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, expos, and customer-facing events, including logistics, registrations, booth preparation, shipping of materials, and post-event lead management.
4. Maintain a digital library of marketing resources, ensuring the sales team has access to current and branded documents.
5. Support customer engagement initiatives including newsletters, email campaigns, and new product announcements.
6. Assist in gathering testimonials, case studies, or marketing insights based on customer feedback.
Data Management & Reporting
1. Maintain sales databases, reports, and dashboards to assist in monitoring KPIs and overall performance.
2. Collate and analyse customer and market data to assist with sales planning and targeting strategies.
3. Provide insights on competitor activity, customer segmentation, and sales trends.
Process Improvement & General Support
1. Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
2. Support onboarding and training of new sales or support team members in systems and workflows.
3. Assist in quality assurance and compliance documentation where needed.

Qualifications & Experience
1. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a sales support, account coordination, or customer service role
2. Experience in corrugated packaging, manufacturing, or B2B environments highly regarded
3. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, ZOHO) and/or ERP platforms
4. Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential)
