Job summary

Primetals Technologies in Mexico is seeking an experienced industrial sales professional to strengthen relationships with steel industry clients and drive growth in the Continuous Casting & Mills (C&M) area. You will identify opportunities, manage proposals through closing, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to win bids.

The role requires a minimum of five years in industrial sales, advanced English, and a technical engineering background.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in industrial sales or business development.
• Experience in the steel, metal-mechanical, or industrial sector.
• Knowledge of Continuous Casting & Mills (C&M) processes is highly preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and increase company sales through strong business relationships with clients in the steel industry.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop customer portfolios, and manage commercial projects from proposal to order closing.
• Provide technical-commercial support to customers and coordinate requirements with suppliers and internal teams.
• Participate in bidding processes and ensure growth and profitability objectives.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales or business development.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of finance, costing, and budgeting.
• Experience preparing technical-commercial proposals and quotations.
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and relationship management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
