A Solutions Operations Lead (or Sales Development Representative (SDR)) is responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers by generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, primarily by making cold calls and sending emails, to then pass qualified leads onto the sales team for further engagement. Essentially, their role is to build and nurture the sales pipeline by identifying potential customers and determining their level of interest in a company's products or services.
