As a Sales Representative at Maersk, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, and managing your portfolio in SFDC while following all established processes. You will collaborate closely with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivery as per Area budget:
    • Manage potential sales of products and/or services to generate revenue.
    • Be accountable for sales strategy, processes, and achieving revenue targets across the Chem/CCL channel.
    • Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Increase the scope of work (SoW) with existing customers and offer integrated solutions.
  2. Understand market dynamics:
    • Analyze local market trends and translate them into business needs.
    • Develop and follow up on short- and long-term business objectives.
    • Research industry trends and share insights with internal teams.
    • Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding changes in contracting, conditions, and rates.
    • Drive internal communication to enhance customer experience and increase SoW.
    • Monitor local Net Promoter Score (NPS) and implement improvements.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Coordinate across area, regional, and global teams.
    • Provide feedback based on customer insights to internal teams.
Candidate Profile

We seek passionate individuals who excel at building agile solutions and actively pursue new opportunities. Providing excellent customer experience throughout the product and solutions lifecycle is essential. You should be independent, eloquent, persuasive, easy-going, and adept at building senior-level relationships. Comfort with working at a fast pace, managing multiple stakeholders, and handling change and uncertainty is crucial.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Experience in sales within supply chain/logistics sectors.
  • Knowledge of the chemical and/or perishable goods markets.
  • Proven success in closing complex supply chain solutions, including landside, cross-border, and air freight.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
