The role of a Sales Development Representative at Canonical

Canonical is profitable and growing. In this role, you will collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to find customer projects that fit our product lines and promote Canonical across various industries and geographies.

What your day will look like
  1. Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
  2. Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
  3. Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting at booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with multiple teams and senior stakeholders to achieve results.
  5. Work directly with marketing on campaigns.
  6. Research prospective customer information.
  7. Generate a multi-million pound pipeline.
  8. Identify prospects and market trends.
  9. Help define team processes and policies.
  10. Liaise with new and existing customers, set up and attend meetings, and actively map accounts to identify new opportunities.
  11. Maintain and nurture leads on global opportunities.
