The role of a Sales Development Representative at Canonical

Canonical is profitable and growing. You will collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams, with the primary goal of finding customer projects that fit our product lines and promoting Canonical across various industries and geographies.

What your day will look like
  1. Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
  2. Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
  3. Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting at booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with multiple teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.
  5. Work directly with marketing on campaigns.
  6. Research prospective customer information.
  7. Generate a multi-million-pound pipeline.
  8. Identify prospects and market trends.
  9. Help define team processes and policies.
  10. Liaise with new and existing customers, set up and attend meetings, and actively map accounts to identify new opportunities.
  11. Create, update, maintain, and nurture leads on global opportunities.

What we offer you

Your base pay will depend on factors such as location, experience, knowledge, and skills. In addition, certain roles are eligible for bonuses and sales incentives based on revenue or utilization. Our compensation philosophy aims for equity across our global workforce.
