Lateral Fulfillment is seeking a highly driven and independent Sales Account Manager with a proven track record in consultative sales within the logistics, fulfillment, or 3PL sectors. This role is critical in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while also managing and expanding key client accounts, particularly U.S.-based e-commerce brands seeking nearshore logistics solutions between Mexico and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the e-commerce and DTC (direct-to-consumer) space.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand clients' logistics challenges and propose tailored fulfillment solutions.
  • Build and execute an strategic sales plan focused on pipeline development and revenue generation.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to develop leads and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain and grow strategic customer relationships through regular engagement and account reviews.
  • Coordinate with operations, legal, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline updates in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B or B2C consultative sales, preferably in logistics, fulfillment, or last-mile delivery.
  • Proven ability to independently source, develop, and close new business from cold leads or trade show contacts.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative without micromanagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • High energy and commercial presence with the ability to build trust and enthusiasm with clients.
  • Solid understanding of commercial metrics (MRR, CAC, conversion rates, etc.).
  • General knowledge of logistics terms such as 3PL, SLA, IMMEX, cross-border, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits, trade shows, or strategic meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, MercadoLibre.
  • Experience selling logistics or technology solutions to growing or scaling businesses.
