Job summary

FORVIA HELLA seeks a Health & Safety professional to support the chief safety engineer in ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, advising on risk reduction, and implementing safety programs across operations at El Salto, Jalisco. You will guide accident prevention, PPE selection, training, and safety documentation, collaborating with site leadership and external authorities.

The role emphasizes developing safety targets, validating processes, and driving continuous improvement in

Qualifications

English advanced.
Industrial protection and health protection, fire protection and environmental protection knowledge and experience.
ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications or familiarity.

Responsibilities

Advising on planning, execution, maintenance and modification of company property, social and sanitary facilities and introduction of working methods and materials.
Providing advice on procurement of technical equipment, workstation design, workflows and ergonomics.
Involvement in training safety officers and organizing internal/external trainings.
Investigating causes of accidents and assisting with accident cases.
Drawing up safety instructions and workplace guidelines.
Collaborating with safety engineers, occupational health professionals and external bodies.
